In a recent development, the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN has cancelled it earlier planned nationwide protest which was scheduled to hold tomorrow, 11 July.
The development was announced by the national president of CAN, Reverend Supo Ayokunle. He said the protest was cancelled due to some “circumstances beyond CAN’s control”.
Reverend Ayokunle in a statement released on Thursday had called on Christians all over the country to protest the incessant killings across the country.
July 9th to 11th, however, remain as national days of prayer. All churches across the country are enjoined to fast and intercede for the country through this period.
