The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) has joined other Christian denominations using a privately owned television station as a tool to propagate the gospel with the launch of ECWA TV.
The station, which is located at the church headquarter in Jos, Plateau state Nigeria is poised to broadcast spiritual messages to believers and it teeming worshippers all over Africa.
While unveiling the station, the outgoing President of the church, Rev Dr. Jeremiah Gado said the television station will align with other media outlets owned by the church to reach out to more people.
SIM-ECWA is among the first missionary outfits to use modern media to reach out with the ‘good news’ of salvation, teachings about faith, and Christian living in Africa.
“The addition of ECWA TV to its existing Radio ELWA and Today’s Challenge Magazine makes it possible for ECWA to explore a broad spectrum of ministries designed to provide platforms for Christians within and outside ECWA to proclaim the Gospel of God’s kingdom to the whole world.
“Through the ECWA TV, God’s eternal love to the world would be proclaimed in a world filled with prejudice, hate, conflicts, and confusion.
“Another focus of ECWA TV is to address the daily challenges Christians and humanity face in a dynamic world that presents humanity with more choice of evil than godly standards,” he said.
The church also has a radio station, called and a news magazine called ELWA and Today’s Challenge Magazine respectively.
