How Christian Prayers Blocked Me From Committing Evil Acts – Former Satanist

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

A former Satanist has proven James 5:16 to be true as he testified to how the prayers of some Christians prevented him from carrying out his evil works prior to his conversion to Christianity.

According to John Ramirez, he was born and raised in a family deeply rooted in witchcraft. He added that he participated in rituals so much that his friends nicknamed him ‘Lucifer’s son”.

Ramirez met a girl not long after he became a high priest in a religion called ‘Palo Mayombe’. This girl invited him to church and introduced him to her Christian parents. This was the beginning of a new life for Ramirez as he later gave his life to Christ.

The former Satanist recounted he was under attack for turning his back on Satanism, but despite this, he held on to his new-found faith, sharing the gospel with others.

He later published a book titled ‘The Ultimate Battle Plan for Targeting and Defeating the Enemy’ where he advised Christians on how to fight and win spiritual battles through the power of the Holy Spirit.

He revealed Christians who are prayerless are at a risk of being overrun by Satanists as satanism is more powerful against them.

He spoke about the time he was to carry out an evil assignment in an area but some group of believers who had gathered to pray pushed him back in the spirit, frustrating his plans in the process.

‘It is those believers, it’s that group of people, those intercessors that gave me such a beatdown in the spiritual,’ he told CBN News.

‘When I came into the neighbourhood and they were in the spirit together holding hands. Do I know they were physically holding hands in one area? I don’t know, but in the spirit realm, they were holding hands. And, they were able to chase me out the neighbourhood,’ he added.

He, therefore, encouraged Christians to widen the scope of their prayers to include schools, neighbourhood and their own country.
