Gunmen Burn Pastor, His Wife, And 3 Children in Plateau Village
Some gunmen suspected to be herdsmen burnt a pastor of COCIN, Rev Gyang Wurim, his wife and three children when they were sleeping in Abonon, Platueu state

It was a black day in Abonon Village in Foron District of Barkin Ladi Local Council of Plateau State when unknown gunmen suspected to be herdsmen burnt a pastor of Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Rev Gyang Wurim, his wife and three children when they were sleeping.
While Wurim and his children were burnt beyond recognition, his wife was shot in the bathroom.
The suspected gunmen also shot two people in the neighborhood and another person in Dorowa village in Fan district, bringing the total number of those killed to eight.
Reports gathered revealed said attackers stormed the village at about 8:00 PM burning houses and shooting people.
Speaking on the unfortunate incidence, Chairman of Foron branch of the Berom Youth Movement, Mr Thomas Tsok said, “They first shot at two young men walking out of the village where they had gone to charge their phones at the deceased pastor’s house, killing one and wounding the other.”
