Redeemed Church Launches Operation Let My People Vote

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG has begun a political awareness program for its members nationwide with the aimed of encouraging them to participated in the 2019 general elections.

The Campaign that was tagged “Let My People Vote” commenced during the last weekend at the RCCG Youth center located along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Some of the leaders who spoke at the events included Pastor J. O. Obayemi, represented by Pastor Ilesanmi, Apostle Alex Bamgbola, Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria; Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye, Special Assistant to the General Overseer of the Redeemed church on Evangelism; Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, Special Assistant to the General Overseer on Christian Social Responsibility; Pastor Bosun Emmanuel, who represented the National Christian Elders Forum; and Region 2 Regional Evangelist of the RCCG.

Pastor Ola Adejube, the Assistant Pastor in Charge of Redeemed Church, Region 1, speaking at the event said the initiative was the Vision of Pastor E.A Adeboye, The General Overseer of the Church.

He revealed the General overseer had kicked the ministers of the church to go collect their PVCs, adding that he had also encouraged them to join any political party of their choice since last year August.
